So, the real secret to a flatter stomach is to eat a well-balanced, calorie controlled diet.  Take a brisk walk every day for at least 45 minutes.  Then watch that stomach start to shrink! Do I Have to Exercise?
Exercise can go a long way toward helping to improve your quality of life. In most situations, the benefits far outweigh the risks of getting hurt while moving and stretching. 
Your physician will help determine a safe method of exercise and will be able to make suggestions on what method of exercise is best for you. Most physcians
recommend walking or a treadmill.  Always start off slowly with moderate exercise. Even if you feel you are limited, a small amount is most likely better than no exercise at all.You don’t have to move around for a long time, but do try to move around a little each day.
